For sale is a unique property located in Kastel Gomilica, in the first row to the sea. This stone house is part of Castel Abbadessa (Kastilac) built in the 16th century, and was, like other houses in the neighborhood, upgraded in the 18th century. Kastilac is located on an underwater cliff 40 meters away from the original coast. It consists of a defensive wall and a tower (which has largely preserved its original shape) in the middle of the northern wall over the entrance to the fort. In 2014., in front of the tower, the sequels of the world-famous "Games of Throne" series were recorded. In the middle of the south wall are the sea gates.

With its rich history, real estate is a cultural heritage and falls under the 0th category monument. The real estate requires the necessary adaptation under architectural supervision, confirmed by the conservator, in order to preserve its initial appearance. All the materials which need to be used when renovating the house should be natural materials, such as wood and stone. The property owns an architectural project and a building permit, as well as all the necessary conservation permits along with elaborated study for adaptation, so the future owner can immediately begin the reconstruction project.

The property is spread over three floors, with a total of 71 m2 of living space. Since it is located directly by the sea, from all the floors there is a fantastic view. According to the project, the first floor will consist of a kitchen with a dining room and a bathroom after the adaptation. The inner staircase lead to the second floor, where is a living room. On the third floor is a bedroom. There is also a balcony on the roof.

In the moment there are no accommodation capacities for the tourists in the area of Kastilac itself. For this reason, real estate represents a perfect investment in the form of tourist rentals or converting it into a unique holiday home. There is also a newly built marina in Kastel Gomilica, for private and charter yacht charter, and Split Airport is nearby.

A pleasant Mediterranean climate, rich history and close proximity to the sea give this property a unique charm, making it unique on the Dalmatian coast.
