The original house was first built about 200 years ago. In approx. 1930 the timber floors were replaced with concrete over which parquet has been laid. The kitchen was added in 1957 and is built on top of the cisterna. The terrace (35sqm) is on top of the kitchen. 5 years ago the terrace was resurfaced with Italian tiles.
During the last 5 years extensive restoration work has been done throughout the house. As many as possible of its’ old character features have been retained or character style ‘new’ features have been refitted in keeping with the age and style of the house.
The wine cellar (32sqm) is on the lowest level of the house and accessed by double doors from the courtyard (20sqm). This area could easily be converted into a self-contained apartment or extra bedroom.
Stone steps beside the house lead to the kitchen and the main house. The kitchen (22sqm)includes a large walk in pantry and is separated from the main house by a covered walkway of approx. 2 meters wide.
The main door to the house is opposite the kitchen door. Located on the ground floor (32sqm) are the entranceway, bathroom, 1 double and 1 single bedroom. Both bedrooms have views of the sea.
A stairway built of local stone leads to the first floor landing. On this floor (32sqm) is the main bedroom and a study or single bedroom. Both rooms have views of the sea. The main bedroom also has a second set of windows which look towards the terrace.
