From the Mainland to the Adriatic Islands: Brač and Hvar

A new chapter of our journey through Croatia with Passport Properties

After Split, Šibenik, and Villa Moj Mir, our journey with the Passport Properties team and Billy continued off the mainland – towards the islands of Brač and Hvar. This time, the goal wasn’t just to show a few interesting properties. We wanted to introduce Billy to a different way of life, one that is inextricably linked to the sea, stone, nature, and the slower Mediterranean rhythm.

Brač and Hvar are located so close to each other, yet each of them has its own character, its own energy, and its own story.

Brač – An Island of Stone, Sea, and Tradition

Our first step was Brač, an island famous for its beautiful coastline, crystal-clear sea, and white Brač stone, which over the centuries has become one of its most recognizable symbols. But Brač is much more than its famous postcards. It is an island of small towns, stone houses, olive groves, and vineyards, an island where you can still feel a strong connection to tradition and nature.

From Bol and its famous Zlatni rat, through Supetar and Sutivan, to the quieter places along the coast, Brač offers different ways to enjoy island life. It is precisely this diversity that is especially interesting when we talk about real estate. On Brač, we can find traditional Dalmatian stone houses, modern villas with pools, apartments by the sea, and other properties on Brač hidden in the quieter parts of the island.

During our stay, we showed Billy an interesting property and gave him the opportunity to see it from the perspective of a potential buyer. Because a photograph can show the space, the view, and the architecture, but only when you stand on the terrace, open the window, and look out toward the sea do you begin to understand what makes a certain property special.

With each new destination, we discover another piece of Croatia. After Split, Šibenik, and Villa Moj Mir, Brač and Hvar brought us a completely new perspective. And this time, we wanted to show Billy that the Croatian real estate market is not just a matter of location and square footage. It is a matter of feeling.
