From Pelješac to Dubrovnik: A Journey Through the Most Beautiful Parts of Croatia

Our journey through Croatia with Billy and the Passport Properties team continued south, through landscapes that best reveal the richness of the Dalmatian lifestyle. After Split, Šibenik, and the islands of Brač and Hvar, our next chapters brought us a blend of premium wine tradition, impressive engineering feats, and one of the most beautiful historical cities in the Mediterranean.

On this journey, we visited the Rizman winery on Pelješac, admired the Pelješac Bridge, and arrived in Dubrovnik, the city where we said goodbye to Billy after an unforgettable journey together.
Rizman Winery – Where Wine, Nature, and Tradition Meet
We started our tour of southern Croatia at the Rizman winery, located in the picturesque area of Komarna, in a landscape that combines vineyards, stone, and open views of the Adriatic Sea.

Pelješac has long been known as one of the most important Croatian wine regions. Its steep slopes, abundant sunshine, and specific conditions for growing vines have created ideal prerequisites for the production of wines with a recognizable character, especially the Plavac Mali variety. The Rizman winery nurtures precisely this connection with the climate. Surrounded by vineyards and Mediterranean vegetation, visitors can experience how local tradition, dedication to viticulture, and a modern approach to wine production merge into a unique story.
For us, this visit was an opportunity to show Billy another side of Croatia – one that is revealed not only through architecture and real estate, but also through the tastes, smells, and people who preserve the region’s identity with their work. Because getting to know a place means understanding what makes it special, and on Pelješac, wine, land, and hospitality are an inseparable part of the local character.
Pelješac Bridge – A Symbol of Connection
Continuing south, we arrived at one of the most striking infrastructure projects in modern Croatia: the Pelješac Bridge.
Opened in 2022, the bridge connected Croatian territory across the Bay of Mali Ston, enabling a more direct road connection between the rest of the country and southern Croatia, without passing through Neum in Bosnia and Herzegovina. But the Pelješac Bridge is much more than an impressive structure. Its elegant pylons and long construction, which rises above the blue sea, have become a symbol of connecting spaces, people, and destinations. At the same time, it represents an important moment in modern Croatian history and proof of how engineering can change the way we experience our own country.

As we crossed the bridge, scenes of the Adriatic, coastal mountains, and the Pelješac peninsula opened up before us. It was another reminder of Croatia’s exceptional diversity: a country where natural beauty, rich heritage, and modern development meet in a relatively small space. For a traveler getting to know Croatia for the first time, such moments remain particularly memorable. And for us who present it to an international audience, they are an opportunity to show how many different stories this country can tell.
Dubrovnik – The End of Our Journey Through Croatia
We brought our journey with Billy and the Passport Properties team to an end in Dubrovnik, one of the most recognizable and beautiful Croatian cities.
After Split, Šibenik, Brač, Hvar, and Pelješac, Dubrovnik was the perfect final stop of a journey during which we had the opportunity to present different parts of our country, their history, culture, natural beauty, and the diversity of real estate in the Dubrovnik area.
It was a great pleasure to host Billy in Croatia and introduce him to the beauty of this exceptional country. Through visits to various destinations and properties, we wanted to show him not only the potential of the Croatian real estate market but also the lifestyle that makes Croatia so special. From Dalmatian cities and islands to the Pelješac vineyards and the impressive Pelješac Bridge, each location offered a different experience and a new perspective.
This is exactly the value of such projects: the opportunity to get to know a destination firsthand, through its people, tradition, architecture, and everyday life.

Croatia – A Country of Exceptional Diversity
Our journey with Passport Properties has shown once again how diverse Croatia is. In a relatively small space, historical cities, authentic island towns, top gastronomy, a rich wine tradition, and natural landscapes that leave a strong impression meet.
At Broker Real Estate, we believe that the true value of a property cannot be viewed separately from its surroundings. Location, history, culture, and quality of life are just as important as the property itself. That is why we are especially glad that through this joint journey we had the opportunity to present Croatia to an international audience and share with Billy a part of what makes our country unique.
Our collaboration with Passport Properties continues through stories about exceptional locations, interesting properties, and the lifestyle that makes Croatia increasingly attractive to international buyers.
