In search of still insufficiently discovered locations, beautiful nature and the experience of luxury, the world's purchasing power is turning to Croatia. In the increase in demand, the interest from the German market was especially emphasized, which should continue to grow as well as from the countries of Eastern Europe and Scandinavia, and at the same time the interest of countries such as China and Russia is growing.
Trends in the global luxury real estate market every year bring new challenges for sellers, but also future buyers. First-class location and exceptional design and quality of workmanship are still in demand, and especially sought after are those properties that also provide a new experience to the future owner.
In order for Croatia to be able to follow world trends and attract investments in this sector, such real estate must continue to be built, but the support of institutions is of course needed in order for potential sales to be realized.
This year there is an exceptional demand for luxury penthouses in Split and Dubrovnik in particular, but also on the entire coast (Trogir, Rogoznica..) and on Dalmatian islands such as Hvar, Korcula or Brac. There is a growing demand for special locations with a high degree of privacy, ie with a large plot of land, private beaches and the availability of yacht berths.
City villas and villas in wider city centers such as Split are on the rise. Furthermore, there is much to be said about interest towards and value of authentic and restored old villas with history and pedigree situated alongside whole coast and inner parts of this beautiful country dating back to the 7th century and it is to be expected that more and more buyers from all over the world will want to have their second home right here.
