Luxury villa / hotel Martinis Marchi is located on the west coast of the island of Solta in Maslinica. The history of the castle dates back to 1703, when the three Marchi brothers got permission from the Venetian authorities to build a tower, a village and a church above the bay Maslinica. At that time, pirates attacks have become frequent and with considerable efforts of the colonists two years later a castle was erected with defense walls and a prominent tower as the last point of defense. Today, after three centuries of tumultuous history, castle Martinis Marchi invites you into its chambers that echo the soft whisper of the past.
